4) Who would be the audience for your media product?

The target audience for my media product is from the ages of 15-20 year olds as i think they will get more out of the film than what older or younger people would. the obviously have to be horror genre fans and also like films with a hidden meaning. I also chose this age group as i think they will have the money to spend on going to the cinema and seeing the film. I noticed that when i went to the cinema on a Saturday it was filled teenagers during the day and then at night it got filled with the 18-20 year olds as they can stay out later. The social class for my audience is middle class as the have the money to spend on going to the cinema more than what working class people do which means that the film will be watched more.
